I was lucky enough to catch this band on a total last minute whim. Actually, it wasn’t even a whim. Someone bought me the ticket because they felt it was their duty (as a wonderful friend) to make sure I didn’t miss out on such a great concert. I TOTALLY REAPED THE BENEFITS. It isn’t very often that a band on Pitchfork’s top 20 of the year make the trek to Vic-yawn-ia.
Ladies and gents, I’ve picked this track because even though it isn’t a top hit I think it shows Merrill’s incredi-talent. Suggested listening involves slow bus rides during inclement weather… or maybe enjoying while tangled in a mass of swaying concert-goers.
